Louisa Parks


She is Full Professor of Political Sociology at the School of International Studies and the Department of Sociology and Social Research at the University of Trento. Her research focuses on the environment and local communities, and how citizens can influence national and international policy other than at elections, both through targeted campaigns and the activism of movements.
She is the author of numerous scientific articles and two papers - "tBenefit-sharing in Environmental Governance: local experiences of a global concept", published by Routledge in 2020, and "Social Movement Campaigns on EU Policy: in the corridors and in the streets", published in 2015.
